1st International Workshop on
Large-Scale Cyber-Physical Systems
(LCPS 2011)

Co-located with SOCA 2011
December 12-13, 2011
Irvine, CA

Program:

The advance LCPS workshop and SOCA conference program is posted on
http://link.eecs.uci.edu/conferences/soca2011/program.htm.

Emerging CPSs (Cyber-Physical Systems) are characterized by a large scale in terms of size of systems, heterogeneity of resources, degree of physical interactions, and uncertainty level of physical dynamics. Thus, the solution approaches for handling such a large scale must reach beyond those for stand-alone embedded systems and real-time systems.

For the large-scale CPSs, novel systematic approaches are required such as service-oriented designs and component-based designs in the system-wide scope including middleware, networks, software architecture and service composition. The purpose of this workshop is to provide an open forum to discuss such novel approaches for handling issues arise from the large-scale CPSs. The topics of this workshop include but not limited to

 Service-oriented architecture for large-scale CPSs
 Middleware techniques for large-scale CPSs
 Tools for developing large-scale CPSs
 Network support for large-scale CPSs
 OS support for large-scale CPSs
 Resource management in large-scale CPSs
Modeling of large-scale cyber systems and physical systems
 Composition techniques for large-scale CPSs
System integration issues for building large-scale CPSs
Application services of large scale CPSs
Case studies of large scale CPSs

Paper Submissions:

Submission page:https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=lcps2011

We encourage all the prospective participants to submit their original work in one of two types, i.e., work-in-progress papers and regular papers. The work-in-progress papers should be no more than 3 pages in IEEE conference proceedings format (two-column, single-space, 10pt). The regular papers should be no more than 6 pages in the same format.

Final Version Submission

Please go to http://link.eecs.uci.edu/conferences/soca2011/final_submission.htm and follow the final version submission instructions.
