From LAX to UC Irinve
If you are renting a car from LAX, head east from the rental place towards the I-405 (ask the employees at the car rental company for the best way to reach the I-405 but it will most likely mean taking W Century Blvd east). Take the I-405 south bound towards Long Beach for roughly 35 miles, depending on traffic this should take about an hour. Then take the 73 south and exit at Macarthur Blvd. Turn left onto Bison Blvd and that will take you right onto UC Irvine campus.
If you are renting a car from John Wayne Airport, follow the markers ‘to Campus Drive’. Then turn left onto Campus Dr. Once you pass University Drive after 1.5 miles the UC Irvine campus will be on your right.
